Ever since writing this post, I've been getting hits from google searches for things like "i tested positive oraquick" or "oraquick faint line." HIV is an issue I care deeply about, so finding these google search hits is a bit nerve-racking for me, knowing that there is some annonymous googler out there just comming to terms with the fact that he has HIV. (For whoever was googling about the "faint line:" yes, that means you tested positive for HIV--any kind of mark next to the T is a positive result)
So, to all of you out there, stop googling and call your doctor! If you happen to be gay and are worried about finding a gay-friendly doctor, I recommend using the "Find a Provider" link over at the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
