Last week I brought you Krassimira Stoyanova in the famous letter scene from Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Tonight one of my favorite singers, Elina Garanca, plays Sesto, plotting to assassinate the Emperor in Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito.
I had the good fortune to be able to see her play this role in person at the Met last year. (here's the english translation).
